This graceful sterling silver English medal fob dates to the year after World War I ended. The fob is shaped like a shield, framed with a scrolling banner. A shield sits at the center of the medal on a field of stippled engraving. The shield is hand engraved with the initials "RG." The back of the medal bears no personal inscription, it is fresh and ready for your own message. This pretty fob will make a lovely statement worn on one of our Ancient Influences married chains.
The back of the medal is hallmarked for Birmingham, sterling silver and the year 1919. It bears the maker's mark "W.A" for Birmingham silver smith William Adams Ltd.
